One of my most memorable experiences in high school was my English 11 class. English 11 was super fun and interactive. Miss Beverly influenced me to have a hunger for learning, and I felt very inspired throughout the year while being in her class. Not only that, but my friends also made the class all the more memorable. They taught me that surrounding yourself with the right people is important. Having people who uplift you and support you is a blessing.

What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
Some of my most memorable experiences from high school include being a part of National Art Honor Society. I was able to make art projects for the school, such as the bowling mural, go on fun field trips with my friends, and host community paint nights.

I also have very happy memories with the Del Norte Bowling Team. We made it to state every year and I had fun traveling with my team to bowl out of town. Practices and tournaments were always enjoyable and I’m proud to have been selected to the All-State Bowling Team 4 years in a row.

I’m also glad I was able to serve as DNHS Student Body Secretary for three years, doing behind the scene work for school events and going to conferences with my council.

I plan on finding a career job that fits into the field of computer science or animation, such as working for an engineering firm or an animation studio. I also plan on writing novels on the side.
