It was another good morning for the AlumKnights sponsored Breakfast Treats for DNHS staff on February 9, 2024. Thank you to Tiffanie Perez (’99) for helping shop & bring in groceries on Wednesday; thank you to Terri Christiansen (’70) for picking up the coffee; thank you to Ira Pinkston from Del Norte Baptist, Greg Lopez (’90), and of course, AlumKnights President Rebecca Bejcek (’90).
Some highlights were:
- Albertson’s donated $50 toward the purchase of treats and donuts.
- Christy Mae’s Restaurant is a new prize sponsor with (2) $25 gift cards.
- Red Lobster donated $20 gift card.
- About 50-60 staff including a couple of surprised substitue teachers enjoyed the food.
- A new security officer named Kevin was a first timer.
