Del Norte graduate Lydia Nelson sang the National Anthem at the UNM Lobo Women’s basketball game on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the “Pit”. In a unique double header, Lydia sang before the Women’s game and after the men’s game. Many of the fans of the men’s game stayed for the Women’s game so the crowd for Lydia’s stirring performance was quite large. The UNM women played Houston Baptist winning 65-57 in an exciting and entertaining game.
