Robert Coya – 2016 AlumKnights Scholarship Recipient

Robert CoyaWhat was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?

My most memorable experience at Del Norte High School was the first day of senior year introducing myself to the rest of the class.

What do you intend to study at your college or university, and what do you want to do after you graduate from college?

I intend to study Culinary, from there I would like to earn some experience and further my career as a chef.

As a new “AlumKnight,” what advice would you give you to students and staff at DNHS?

As once Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” Meaning when school seems to become overwhelming stick it out and finish strong.
