What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
My most memorable moment was when my AP Physics I teacher broke the news that I was the only student in the school to pass the AP exam for that class, and that I had also passed all 3 of my AP exams. I’m thankful to my incredible AP teachers – Mr. Candelaria (CompSci), Ms. Beverly (English), and Mr. Demers (Physics) for getting me to that point.
What do you intend to study at your college or university?
Mechatronics. It’s the perfect intersection between computer science, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering, but even better than that, I can get a certification without a traditional degree.
What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
I want to build my own robotics projects and build a portfolio of them all, practically proving myself – rather than theoretically – capable of designing, building, and programming robots.
