Del Norte High School student Avanni McKaney has been selected for the 2024 NMACDA Youth Treble All-State Choir. The competition was fierce this year and three other DNHS freshmen also auditioned. This year’s Youth Treble Choir will be directed by Paul Hallsted, a highly acclaimed music educator who currently teaches choir and guitar at Alma d’Arte Charter High School in Las Cruces. The NMACDA All-State Choir performances will be Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM.
